Here's where I'm coming from today

Radio Broadcast
My first radio broadcast was a call-in show.  It was my first experience at speaking when there was no live audience present.  At first I thought it would be awkward, but it turned out that people were interested and quite eager to ask questions.  And of course, as a writer, I'm also a pretty good talker, so it worked out beautifully.  Turns out many people are just as interested in the brain surgery as they are in the book of stories; so I'm working on a humorous look at my pre- and post-surgical experiences.  It's pretty easy for me to look back on it now because I was so disengaged from it all as it was occurring.  I'll keep you updated on that.

Working on full-length novel.  I don't have all the characters fully drawn yet, nor do I have the locale and scenery developed.  I DO, however, have some great funny scenes I'm working on.  You'll have to trust me on this.

No, I guess you don't HAVE to, but it will be easier on us both if you do.

Until next time.

Wait'll You Read This!

Author has new novel coming next fall.  What's it about?  Check out my previous book of short stories From the Porch
Does the new novel have some funny characters like the short stories did?  What can I say?  I'm just a funny character.
Does it have some folks in it with bizarre idiosyncrasies?  What can I say?  I'm a bizarre person but with no idiosyncrasies.  Not one.  No.  That's not me.  I wouldb't say or do anything bizarre.  No.  Don't think so.
Is the novel a blockbuster?  Well, I don't know 'cause it hasn't hit the presses yet.  But I suspect all readers will be imensely impressed.  Won't you?  Really?  Why not?
